You just have to climb up a little above the wonderful village of Arquà to find the Cesarone family's restaurant, a reference point in the Euganean Hills where you can go for excellent pizzas and dishes to be enjoyed in a beautiful restored farmhouse. Andrea Cesarone, owner and chef, has brought his philosophy back to the pizzeria as well. There are three types - "vaporous" with a soft heart, "la stesa" and "mezzafarina" (with a reduced flour content for greater digestibility) - made with organic flours and double leavening doughs. Always original and linked to the seasonality of the proposals of combination, for a deliberately short card, which teases the curiosity, as happens with Burrata Pugliese, roasted tomatoes and basil reduction or pizza with anchovies, roasted pumpkin seeds, fiordilatte, eggplant purple rolls, cherry tomatoes, basil cream and parmesan flakes. Lazzarina, Andrea's partner, takes care of the advice and welcome with grace and professionalism. The rest is done by the environment and the lovely veranda. They are also present in Padua city, in a take-away shop Val Pomaro Lab.
