Wine and music often go hand in hand. In this case, the tribute is to the musician from Bergamo, one of the greatest Italian opera players, while at the helm of the venue we have for decades been the Locatelli family, a true city institution. Massimo is the master of the house of race and profession, who has the rare ability to intercept the needs of the most demanding palates by virtue of a deep knowledge of the subject and a rare professionalism. The wine list is a real journey into the biodiversity of the Italian scene, but not only. There are in fact well-known and lesser-known grape varieties, together with a portfolio of carefully selected vintages. The passion for bubbles is evident, ranging from Fronciacorta to the best French cuvées, offered at honest recharges. In particular, the international section denotes some truly out of the ordinary names, with producers and regions chosen precisely because of an exceptional quality / price ratio. But it's not just great drinking here. Alongside the aforementioned wine selection of great character, in fact, we find an equally interesting cuisine, which is perfectly declined according to the moment of the day. There are therefore fine cured meats and cheeses, first oenological decline of the territory such as pizzoccheri or casoncelli butter and sage, as well as second courses made to perfection as tradition dictates, such as quail and roe deer. If, on the other hand, the intention is to take a quick and light break in the company of a proper glass, one of the stuffed wraps could be for you. In the summer, it is very pleasant to spend a break in the outdoor area, as inside, you will be looked after by an attentive and courteous service.
