The first striking aspect is the care of the furnishings and lights, from the armchairs to the bottles in plain sight. Opened in 2015, Bicerin quickly became the Milanese wine parlor, basing the offer on small independent producers; the offer includes almost 800 labels, identifying wines from Italy (both in the South) but also from abroad, even going beyond the usual destinations. Armenia, Greece, Hungary, Lebanon. Great strength is the pouring, thanks also to the use of Coravin, which skilfully ranges between bubbles and still wines. Always a pleasure to return to what in a short time has become one of the places of choice for natural wine in Milan. The sign is the latest creation of Alessandro Longhin and Davide Martelli, a tried and tested team, which we find two other successful venues. Guido Cerretani, Marta Gionnotti and Francesca Agnello have developed this beautiful project inside Casa Emergency. The soul of the restaurant is Rocco Galasso: he is the one who supplies the shelves of the restaurant with a selection that looks exclusively to small wineries fished a little all over Europe. 150 references in an assortment whose strength is not the quantity, but the (great) character of the continuous rotation. The bar, on the other hand, offers about fifteen labels every day. Part of the proceeds are donated to Emergency, a delightful large outdoor area with a truly relaxing atmosphere. For the uninitiated, the word "lambic" that appears in the name of this place is the name of a very particular brewing style that refers to the sour beers produced in Payoltenland, southwest of Brussels. Two beautiful rooms, in the London Club-bing style, for the first flagship store of Tannico, the well-known e-commerce platform founded by Marco Magnacavallo: oil-colored walls, soft lighting, large shelves of bottles and excellent music. Ideal setting for an aperitif, but also to stop for dinner. In the kitchen Francesca Lecchi, author of a very direct proposal and dishes made of a few elements, such as meatballs with tomato coulis, cod rnantecato with solicornia and foie gras maison, side-by-side with out-of-the-box or seasonal dishes. There is no shortage of treats for the aperitif, which is based on classic cocktails and obviously on the wines of a cellar with over 800 labels and about 40 references by the glass. The adventure of Gianluca Ladu and Maddalena Viscusi began in 2012: first as a classic shop with a small bar, then, from 2017, the turning point with the opening of the kitchen. Not to be missed, for lovers of the genre, is the careful selection of organge wines, with some precious vintages that are hard to find.
